Re: Age categories, USRowing--again

I am pleased to note that US Rowing has rejected the proposal to delete categories L, M, and N from indoor rowing age categories. The only argument presented with the proposal to delete those categories was that so doing would bring the rules governing indoor rowing in line with those governing on t...

Re: Age categories, USRowing--again

There were two goals with respect to retaining age categories for ninety-year-olds this season. The first was to convince US Rowing to reject a proposed rule change abolishing those categories from the current rules. The second goal was to convince the CRASH-Bs to add those categories to the list cu...

Re: Age categories, USRowing--again

CRASH-Bs has just put information online relevant to registration for the competition to take place on February 16, 2025, although actual registration is not yet available. Re: Age categories, USRowing--again

Here is an improved road map to the proposed rule change, which I oppose, and hope you do as well. Go to USRowing.org. Insert "2025 Proposed Rules of Rowing Changes" in the search bar on the home page. Follow the directions to an index to the proposed changes. Go to page 18. 11-402 Classification by...

Age categories, USRowing--again

Some of you may remember my effort two years ago to add three age categories to World Rowing and US Rowing. I failed completely with World Rowing, but with your support we were successful in having the following three age groups added to US Rowing's Master age categories for indoor rowing: L. 90 to ...
