Re: New member say hi & looking company to encourage each other
Welcome. You could consider joining a team. The team I am on, Luna-Tics, is very active, and I've found that to be quite helpful in my motivations.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Just want to show off my negative splits. I've never had them work out so nicely before, as I'm newer to rowing, and this just made me happy to see. I'm still learning and row-gowing, and am trying to figure out how to gain 'watts' without a HR over 150, yet my determination is there... never quit....

20 min Dark Horse follow-along with Shane - intermediate level intervals of 22 and 26 spm, then followed that up with 40 mins of weights in my pain cave (garage gym) on this "Flex Friday" (aka Arm Day).

Re: Which heart rate monitor
Been off the erg for a few years now, getting it back out of storage. Which heart rate monitor do people advise? I think iv lost my old one. To link to a PM5 Thanks I'm not a fan of chest monitors (uncomfortable for me). I use a COROS armband, wearing it on my left upper arm,. I originally started ...

Re: New Year's Eve Virtual Team Virtual Party !
Every New Year's eve, the Lunies host a virtual new year's eve party. Either Jane or danwho acts as the virtual bartender, and we post our virtual drink orders here. It's getting a bit close (although danwho did give me a heads up a few days ago), so be thinking about how you would raise your glass...

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
https://i.imgur.com/0rb125S.jpg I was hobbled by the sudden onset of problems with my right hip pretty early in the month. Tried to add some meters with one-legged erging for a while, but that turned out to be too much too. So now I'm looking forward to life after hip replacement. For now, it's the...

Re: Here I go again so looking for a small virtual rowing team
I second that for Luna-Tics, they are a fun, no pressure group. I recently joined them and they are very laid back, inviting and do fun stuff. I have not experienced any pressure to row (other than my own personal determination) I'm very happy with the way Luna-Tics operates, and glad I joined.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Congrats to all. I hope it's OK to break the ice with this reply - it's the only way Forums would let me post cuz I'm new (please forgive if I'm in error). Hi, I'm new to Luna-Tics and just wanted to intro myself. I'm on a Concept2 RowErg, I'm newer at rowing and am having fun while trying to get/st...
