Re: How’s my form? (video attached)
You literally have no drive phase. Pulling right from the front continuously. Also the rounded back is very concerning. That's just 2 things but 2 basics that need sorted.

Re: Legs applying equal pressure during drive mode
Back to the original post.
Are you sure your legs are the same length?
It's not uncommon for them to be different lengths.
This could cause all sorts of issues.
You mentioned PT in your post.
They probably did check this, but just throwing it out there.

Re: Sweating
I never look forward to the summer months for rowing. It's almost impossible to row a decent paced 10K in the summer. Just posting to complain really. I miss my freezing basement in the winter. Heard. How much of a difference does it make on your 10k? Lucas I don't think the heat and humidity make ...
Re: Sweating
I never look forward to the summer months for rowing. I row in an old stone basement. Have a de-hu midifier. 16 inch floor fan. 20 inch square fan at head height. Plus one of the covers that directs the air from flywheel back at me. It's almost impossible to row a decent paced 10K in the summer. Hav...

Re: BikeErg Workouts and Training
In the spring I purchased a 2nd BikeErg. Now have one upstairs and one in the basement cave. On the newer one have been doing lots of one legged pedaling - seems to have really benefited me outside on the mountain bike. Started with set of 35 work/10 second rest X 26. Switching legs. Now up to hour-...

Re: Critique my Rowing form?
I jut think your 'pieces' of the stroke look ok - as in position and path of your arms, torso, shins. Shoulders look tense as others have said. Biggest thing I see and it's a big one. I don't see a solid catch point. Seems like everything or something is always in motion. There should be a very shor...

Re: Plateau Advice
What is gained by reducing the rest between intervals? Respect to jamesg post above. He knows far more science than I'll ever know. Why less rest? The guy wants to improve his 2k. It's a tough event. Rowers are known to crumble doing it, even after years of training. It's a 7 minute event. I just t...

Re: Plateau Advice
I'm trying to break a 7:20 2k, and have been hovering around 7:22–7:25 for a couple months. My weekly programming is: Monday: Alternate 2k time trial, or 5k tempo (every other week) Tuesday: 10k steady state Wednesday: 5x500 intervals, with 3:00 rest Thursday: 10k steady state Friday: 5k steady sta...

Re: The difficulty to go again on rowerg after a little break
To the original poster - start slow if need be. Add a little each day. The silver lining is this is a great time to work on form from the ground up.
But like someone else said. Concerned about the level of difficulty your experiencing. Maybe there is a health issue.

Re: Early morning exercise
When I drove to the office everyday I often would do my first workout early. Was usually rowing. I had specific workouts for the morning that I programmed into the PM5. So I could start slow and my rowing times were always slower than the afternoon. But wierdly thought the training effect was more p...

Re: Question about Rerow / Rebike
If I'm following correctly.
Yes, you need to program the 2 minute rest at the end. It will still be there on rerow/rebike.

Re: Regularly changing the DF
I change the DF almost every rowing session. Sometimes change it during the session. It does have an affect on how the muscles are stressed. A r22 at max DF feels different than a r22 at min DF. I do regular sets of fartlek. I use these to gauge how my rowing is going. Do some at max DF some at min ...

Re: Advanced training plans
Hello! I'm a beginner with some background (triathlon). At the moment I can row 12k and more, with pace under 2m/500m. My PB is about 37m for 10k. (btw my spm is about 30. Is it a bad habbit for this effort?) Normally my traing is just a 2.5k in the morning and 10k in the evening. Recovery or "work...

Re: Clipless pedals for the C2 rower
If I look at the headline for this thread it looks like pedals have been put on a rower and I am visioning a pedalo. Then if it is a thread meant for the bike erg I would have to ask why you made ally toe clips, I just bought a pair of light steel ones for 3.99 that bolt on the front of the pedal. ...
