I wear Converse All-Stars (the low ones, not high tops). The lack of padding helps with direct transmission of force between my feet and the foot-stretchers. OTW, rec single. I prefer early in the morning. I have rowed in an eight and a four, but it's difficult to get thaat many people down to the water at 5:45am. I erg in the winter.<br /><br />I've never been to Australia, but when I go sometime, I'd love to get out on the water.<br /><br />bw
