No cons they say no weights, even light weights, training for young kids...so i was just wondering if there would be any con's... thanks for your reply i've heard this a few times and as a licenced athletics trainer agree at some point... but then what do you class as light weights.. body weight ? ...

thanks for all the advice peeps. I ended up buying the skwoosh and it works effectively - its a gel based cushion, similar to the bike saddles. i use a garmin vivo activity tracker and a garmin heart thingy.
starting the heart tracker automatically triggers an activity.
also i can check the bpm on the pm4/5 (garmin=ant)

i have to edit the activity manualy to display indoor rowing (i cross train), but the work/calories are there.
