Re: ErgData: Drive data (Length / Time / Speed / Count)

Don't get bogged down in the math, ultimately its the discipline of regular training that's important. Get a LogCard into the PM monitor so you can see what you were doing months ago and simply compare the results. You need a heartrate monitor as well. The monitor has most of what you need recorded...

Re: ErgData: Drive data (Length / Time / Speed / Count)

I found it very hard to keep a constant 2:00 pace at r20 mostly I kept going to fast ... The workout was much more intense at lower spms tho By going too fast, do you mean at a stroke rate higher than 20spm or a pace lower than 2:00? Lower pace definitely means faster in terms of erg speed, whateve...

Re: ErgData: Drive data (Length / Time / Speed / Count)

All the data was that from ergdata.
Drive speed is meters/second
Drive length is meters.
I guess it's one way to work out the complete time ofbthe pull
Pace wad a constant 2:00/500m for all various spm - hence the constant avg. Watt (210)
I guess the peak force is the max force (moment) of the pull

Re: ErgData: Drive data (Length / Time / Speed / Count)

As I suspected the data I supplied was the reverted default Base. I did several 1000m pulls with different sums Drive length varied from 1.48 @r20 to 1.35 @26 Drive speed 19.5@20 to 17.5@26 Peak 85@20 to 65 @26 Strokes 80 - 95 Ave W was fairly constant at 210 I found it very hard to keep a constant ...

Re: ErgData: Drive data (Length / Time / Speed / Count)

thanks all for the advice: I was thinking about adding some low r20 training to my schedule. I guess I was asking what should be the "correct" ratio from snatch to relax. (i.e. times from slide back to slide front) - For me it seems that with a 26/27 per min stroke that it is close to 50 / 50 (work ...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

running upto my first month with my own c2 modelD and hit the 10k - was aiming for a sub 40 minutes. -> 39:16 - season and personal best - sub 39 could have been done, but its still 32°C out here :/ (at least thats my excuse - it felt good tho) not bad for a M46 - getting better :) - guess i missed ...

Re: ErgData: Drive data (Length / Time / Speed / Count)

yes - my bad. I was under the impression, that Ergdata displayed the last training, but it reverted to some weird default. The question marks i commented on that value was also unbeleivable. I checked the DF during a training sesion and it seemed about right (110 on 4). that said I don't really want...

Re: sore a$$

thanks for all the advice peeps. I ended up buying the skwoosh and it works effectively - its a gel based cushion, similar to the bike saddles. I was having trouble at about the 15km mark - just being uncomfortable and pain and having to wriggle which was effecting my technique and stroke. That seem...

ErgData: Drive data (Length / Time / Speed / Count)

Has any one analsysed the drive data uns used it to optimize their technique ? i.e. faster, longer/shorter drive etc ? just wanted to know how i stood in comparison (maybe i'm too slow on the drive, too quick on the recovery) this was taken from a 15k yesterday that was ( i struggled the last 5 k) t...
