Handle hooks are SOOO nice.
Yes, indeed. They're constantly in use on my Skierg. 👌

Re: Rowing & Running Fitness

my dodgy right shin got a pull (I stopped immediately) and I've now been hobbling for 4 days  . Use ice water on your shin with a wash cloth, numerous times for short brief periods (30 seconds or so), interspered with gentle walking around, and keep doing this based on your progress until heal...

Re: What Skierg training are you doing?

Kini, nice 6k PB. What is the temperature when you exercise?
Steve, you inspire me greatly doing a half marathon, especially when healing from shoulder issues.
I'm going easy for a few days for recovery, and am planning to go for a 30 minute distance in a few more days.

Re: Ski erg handle(/cable) loses tension during high Watt pulls

after some high wattage pulls I will reach up for my next pull and only feel tension from the right handle, while my left arm is surprised by the lack of tension. This doesn’t happen on every pull and only seems to happen sometimes on higher wattage pulls. Perhaps one of the bungees is not retracti...

Re: What Skierg training are you doing?

6x 5' this morning at 2:20 flat, the first time I've done that, then 5x 1` and warm down.
The weather's getting warmer. I was going to go easier today but gave it a go and felt good.

The speed sessions are tough and I have found myself stopping, not necessarily because I'm super tired.
What specific sessions were those?

Re: Prizes and manipulation

In your own words:

What a weak excuse for entering your non weight adjusted rows in the rankings, Carl.

All it means is that you like to manipulate your results and to not be held accountable for doing so.

Re: Prizes and manipulation

How does one adjust for weight? Only time I've seen this is on ergdata (I have a box I can check to adjust to my 190lbs when looking at log) or the weight adjustment calculator on the C2 page, but I thought those were more meaningful to OTW rowers. Good question. Convert pace to watts / adjust for ...

Re: Prizes and manipulation

All of my times in the rankings are verified, and I've not fiddled around with Rowpro and other devices to make them appear that way. I couldn't care less what Carl does. However, he weighs 230 pounds, doesn't adjust for his weight, yet still enters his times and meters in the log book 😴 -- so he ha...

Re: SkiErg 2 Handles

Straps for the win! I ordered the handle hooks today. I will probably order some cork handles next. Good for you, Ray! I'll be interested to see how you like them. I've been wanting to order the straps and cork handles, but haven't been sure of which ones to get. :? I've been using 7/8" ID flexfab ...

Re: Prizes and manipulation

I always enter my meters manually, only use verification for PB's, and don't even enter my time or pace for easy days. If C2 required verification for everything, then I'd only enter PB's nothing else. Regarding the meters and rankings lists, they're based on absolute weight, not pace per weight. Un...

Re: PM5 Firmware v166 - interesting changes

CJ, thank you.

I'll do this when my computer gets updated, which will take a few weeks at least.

Hopefully this will cure the issue with one of the lifetime meter displays not being accurate.
