Ok what I was thinking was either: next time to bump it up to 11x300 same rest or to try 8-10 x250 on 1' rest What do you think (I'm training for 2k and already doing steady state)

Did 14x250/2:00 rest capped at 30 1:32.6 avg, does anybody know how is this indicative of a 1k/2k split? I felt I could have gone for another 4 at the same pace and rate, for 2k I rate 33(keeping light strokes) so I guess i could rate around 35/36 for a 1k, btw how indicative is this of 1/2 k split?

Too manu hard sessions and rate too high for ss, go for 20 or less in long steady state and build some power per stroke, keep working in technique Every single day and you'll get There.

Either tomorrow or next week I'll have a 6k test, I was wondering how to pace It considering yesterday I did 6:34 on the 2k test(rate 33); most recent workouts are 4x3k/3:00 rate 21-22 for all at anche avg pace of 1:51.2(felt quite good till the end of the third piece but certainly close to AT) I've...

What I found helped for confidence was a 1500 m at pace, If I were you I'd try to do 5-10 starting strokes and then settle at 1:49, hold It for the whole piece, don't sprint. If it s a maximal effort then you're closer to 7:20 if it feels manageable then ho for that in your test. Good luck!

Honestly with your size is for sure a technical problem, if you Can find someone more experienced to coach you, or at least post some videos here and I m sure we will give you good advice!

I don't know if anyone said this already but work on technique: most non rowers don t erg well enough. With this said I will recommend doing 1 hard workout 1 long low spm and 1 all out mid distance, good example of this would be: 8x3'/3'off at race rate and race pace +3;12k rate 20 max press keeping...

It's decent but:Try to be more fluent in your movements; on the recovery the HANDS are leading into the catch; at the catch you wait too much before starting the drive.

8x3:00/3:00 rest 1:40.8(for all except 6th 1:40.7) 31 spm this was yesterday, today 6000 test= 21:21.6

After a hangover and having smoked weed yesterday, I decided(I don't know why) to 2k= result 6:38.9 pleased given the conditions and the shitty erg at the gym.
