Re: Sub 7:00 pair
Under 16 faster than the Olympic gold winners.... Must be the spaghetti... Or an 'easier' stretch I hope you're joking The times are different depending on the lake, and you must be ignorant if you Don't consider that the winners usually go in the 6:10-20 range with their world record being 6:08.5 ...

Sub 7:00 pair

Single scull times and drills?
Hi, I'm writing this post because I always wondered what are yours 2k time on the single scull?, I'm usually around 8:00 (take or leave 20 sec depending on the lake) and by seeing different threads and videos on the web I had the impression that the sculling level in America is not so high so first ...

And, However If you really raise the quality of your workouts and the the volume you will probably be sub 7 in 6 months so know your goal(s) and any action in your daily life should really be after asking yourself If that would make you faster.

Re: Looking to drop erg time from 7:35 to sub 7:00.
Last year I was 15 6' 165 lbs and had a 7:28 pb, at the start of the year after a 2 week summer brake I pulled a 7:31 after a month back into training I went 7:04.7 so is not impossible, of course now that I am in the 6:45-50 i realized that the big difference was about all aspects of fitness: flexi...

Re: Just wanted to know my possible 2k time
Thanks everybody for the responses, I asked about the 2k because It was done a few months ago and in a very hot room where everybody did slower or fainted at the halfway mark. The most recent piece I've done is a 10 k holding 1:54.6 at 23 spm(for what It's worth). However I followed this forum a lot...

Just wanted to know my possible 2k time
So I didn't tested recently but my last 2k was a 6:57.3 a few months ago. The last all out tests (although they were meant to be workouts) are a 6x5:00/3:00 rest at 1:47.5 at 27 spm and a 500 m time trial at 1:30.1( rowed at 38 spm just to make correlations with 2k so probably could have gone faster...
