Re: PM3 to a PM5: now much slower

1:45 pace for how long ? Sorry but 2:00 pace if far more likely to be comfortable than 1:45 pace for the majority of people. I'm wondering if the PM3 was even configured for the rower. I have a hard time believing 1:45 pace to be comfortable unless you're only doing under 1000m rows. Even then for ...

your feet come from the foodrest. You should end your stroke more firm, pulling the energy thats still in your body into the chain.
I noticed this too.

Your back is a bit curved maybe try sitting more upright for a stronger position.

Re: Training for half a marathon

Looking at your stroke i can see some weak points. Your posture is slouched and you're not rocking forwards on the recovery to setup for a strong catch position, and the legs aren't doing much. The legs make up for 60% of the power delivery per stroke. Your stroke is arms and somewhat erratic as wel...

Re: Training for half a marathon

From what has been mentioned above it indicates to a flawed technique. I'd hazard a guess that you're rowing mostly with just the arms and not engaging the legs much in the drive phase of the stroke.

Post up a video for further critique and pointers.
