Re: PM5 potential issue

Can't be that hopeless... it's worked perfectly for over 3 years. This is the first minor issue i've encountered. And it's not even related to the firmware anyway.

anything over 4:15rest on intervals comes up a complete random number
Hm. Sounds like 0x00FF seconds in hex. Not really wanting to tick over to 0x0100 seconds, I guess.
Not sure, but according to C2 this is one of the several issues linked to "Firmware version 12" which is what i'm running.

Re: technique video

You're pulling your arms in too early on the drive, they come in later once you've driven with the legs then swung torso. Also, the whole stroke looks rushed... take your time and slow down the recovery. You waste so much energy with a rushed stroke. And there are no prizes given for a race back to ...

Re: PM5 potential issue

Nah it's running the original firmware that was current in 2014 when the machine was manufactured. I've seen no reason to update it as everything i need is there and works fine! Aside from the anything over 4:15rest on intervals comes up a complete random number, but that is something i can live wit...

PM5 potential issue

After my 30min row today, and after the monitor had automatically turned off after the session, i pressed menu button to get the session details but the PM refused to turn on. Pressed all different buttons but nothing. I then removed the batteries and re-installed them and hey presto the PM is worki...

So many of us have battled some illness this season and it's amazing how it impacts workouts for quite some time. Glad getting better though.
Thanks!

Yeah i couldn't believe how much it had impacted when i started rowing today

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Back on the erg today... still recovering from flu. As a result, this 30min piece felt like quite some work, but happy at least to have had the energy able to do what i done today.

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Nice training all. I've been down with a heavy dose of flu so there has been no training at all to speak of, been in bed most of the time.

Feeling a little better now, so i'm doing a 5 or 6k row later today.

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

The motivations went down the pan lately but the erg is my go to weapon when i cba with weights n stuff. And the elbows still not great for weights, thats what has really put a dampener on that. Anywho, todays training went like this 160 pushups 40-30-30-30-30 6k erg @ 2:02.8 - r22 - HR 147 (df140) ...

Re: Constant rib injuries

I've had intercostal muscle damage from the C2 in my first year rowing. Mine was cause through sprinting hard and probably not great technique at the time. Very painful injury tbh, found it hard to breathe without it feeling like someone was digging a knife into my ribs. I rested up for 3 weeks of n...

Re: New user, New concept 2 model D drag factor

Hi Everyone Just got my new machine over a week ago and loving it so far. I’ve spent the first few workouts playing about and taking it easy as I’m also new to rowing and am now trying to get my head around damper and drag factor settings. Having read on the concept 2 website a new machine on dampe...
