use the "open link in new window" ( or whatever it is called ) , in IE right-mouse second option , and close that after looking at each post.

Breaks are acceptable. Just keep the monitor on by pulling once a minute or so during the break ( do a test to see how long your monitor takes to power off , a 5 minute break will be too long and you will loose your time ). And the time of the breaks must be included in the time of the total attempt.
