I've developed shrink wrap commercial software for Windows for 25 years and I use Apple products. Let's not go there since it just turns into personal preference.

I jut tried deleting a row that I had synchronized to the log from ErgData and then resynchronized with no loss of data.

Re: Online logbook - charts?

After uploading workouts to online logbook, i can only see summaries - there are no charts with HR or pace or power. I am pretty sure i have seen them on some screenshot online. Am i missing something or is it "normal operation"? I have checked both ErgData and Concept2 Utility upload methods. You ...

Re: Why won't ErgData log the activities from my PM5

Am I misunderstanding the sync capabilities here? Shouldn't I be able to use ErgData to sync the data from my PM5 to concept2.com/log logbook? It should work as you expect since that's how it's working for me on iOS. I have an Android tablet I should be able to try tonight if you don't get another ...

Re: Computer rowing analysis software ?

I notice that the front page of the logbook (when you have not logged in) has an image in the bottom left hand corner that shows a graph of an individual workout (hopefully shown below). This detail isn't currently available on Ergdata - but it looks like it might be coming?? (though I do not that ...

Re: PM5... Uploads...split times etc

Currently the easiest way, like Citroen said, is to use RowPro. In the not too distant future there should be quite a bit more data available in the C2 logbook. The following is from an email they sent out mid-November: For the last several months, we've been rebuilding the Concept2 Online Logbook f...

Re: Rowpro not connecting to new logbook

"To do list" means that nothing is happening and there isn't much concern about it. Funny, it's the only reason many of have the program (or the only reason we use it) is for the interface with the logbook. From their twitter account: Digital Rowing ‏@DigitalRowing 19 hours ago UPDATE - ROWPRO LOGB...

Re: RowPro: Low user numbers.

Certainly a mac version now is too late (in my opinion) Its also WAY too late in my opinion as well. IMO it has been driven by a small group of vocal Mac users who have moaned for years about not having a native Mac version. Mac has like 8% of the OS market. I disagree that it is too late. I do agr...

Re: PM5 - FIT files

...there are some possible opportunities being looked at for moving workout data to other services. More to come. Yes please! I've used numerous other apps to try and side-track workouts but it's cumbersome and all have drawbacks. By the way, the new ErgData release coming soon has some initial sup...

I completely agree. Really no reason not to have access to more data and HR recovery data.

Re: Do not download v18 for the PM5

Just a data point that v18 has been working pretty well for me. No errors displayed and I believe only one session that went to memory instead of the USB stick (this used to happen frequently).

Re: HRM loses signal PM3/PM4 - Polar H1

I know it may not be a helpful reply but I had similar issues with the Polar dongle and found the frustration annoying enough that I stopped using it and just tracked via my watch. I later replaced my belt with a dual BTLE/Polar belt (H7) and started using a phone app and have been happy with the re...

Re: What battery life should I expect on iOS when using ergd

I don't use ErgData but do use a heart rate monitor and an app like RunKeeper or iSmoothRun it *definitely* eats into the battery life. On a marathon I knew it could be close and have it on power to avoid the issue. For half marathons I don't bother but will try to top it off later.
