ergData/PM5 v323 Interval problems

Since I updated from 320 to 323 my bikeErg PM5 has not been behaving properly when doing interval sessions. I have set up both simple and complex interval sessions and both are affected by this bug. The session is set up normally and the first part is ok but when the 1st part has ended the message '...

Flattery or copyright infringements?

Saw this rower https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mens-Health-Dual-Resistance-Rower/362389343714?hash=item5460168de2:g:yxcAAOSwfHVbT2OJ Was surprised it was being sold by Argos as they sell Concept2 equipment. This rower has a fan thats design looks pretty much like a C2. The feet design looks like the same...

Re: Recommend good apps/games

The last I looked at rowpro they said there was going to be an app. My own favourite is Boatcoach there is an option to erg against someone else. The C2 PMs do have a graphic for a pace boat ... I use BC because you can save the session set-ups and can set up a session away from the erg and when you...

Re: Acceptable differences between rowers

I guess there are a few options in cases like this: get your own equipment, expensive but at least you can exercise when and how you want. put up with it until the gym replaces it meanwhile griping about bad maintenance of the existing equipment. persuade the gym to allow you to do a free clean... o...

Physical activity ratio (PAR) tables for BikeErg

Eddie Fletcher's Marathon guide for rowing included a table for PAR values for the erg does anyone know how to workout the same type of table for the BikeErg?

Thanks

Re: ErgData - interval workout problem

I have the same thing happen to me when I'm using BoatCoach. But looking at the data from the app directly I'm getting the same weird times. They appear to be at the minute boundaries, this is most obvious when I do WP type 4 interval sessions (low fixed rates). I still have these issues after chang...

Re: Android Apps

I had a PM4 a while ago and used it with both ergData and Boatcoach, I looked at the data from BC which logs it directly to the device. I found if I did fixed low spm sessions then the results on the C2 Logbook were odd... but BC's graphs didn't show display. I suspect the PM may be generating the w...

Re: Ergdata app

In the interval screen you can turn the rest from fixed duration to indeterminate, you start the next rep when you press continue. There is a time limit of a maximum 10 mins. Check the help page

Re: Ergdata app

The thing is I had no idea what my rest time was. I guess if I set the rest time for 3 mins and I get back on the rower in 2 it will just pick up where it left off and start a new record on the log? No at least not normally ... if you set up an interval session with fixed rest periods then no, as y...

Re: Ergdata app

I wonder for next time how I would program lets say 4 rounds at 27 cals in the PM that way it would show me the data as I worked out. Great ... at the PM5 select a session ... then select new session ... calorie Interval session ... then enter number of calories and rest time. Easiest way is play a...
