Weirdness PM5 on the BikeErg

I'm enjoying riding the bikeerg the feel is great. I have downloaded the TCX file from one of my BE sessions 3x10 mins with 2 mins rest. I then loaded the data into Garmin website and noticed that the equipment was not recognised as an indoor cycle, this would be really useful (as would tagging the ...

Re: Readding deleted rows to logbook via Concept2 Utility

If the sessions are still in the PM's memory you could try copy to an usb stick (or logcard) and then use the utility to sync.

Re: Garmin Connect Integration

If you use Fit files then you could use Golden Cheetah to track fitness sessions. Oddly C2's TCX files aren't loaded into Golden Cheetah either but the Fit files are. TCX is in xml format and there is a schema to check that TCX files conform ... should be easy to make sure that TCX files are correct...

Re: PM5 -> Logbook question

vepjan wrote:That is not possible through erg data. Would be great if it were. Only solution I know is to connect to PC or mac via usb and using the concept 2 utility.
You could use an usb stick, then C2 utility to load it into the C2 Logbook, or manually enter the results with verification codes.

ErgData -> Logbook -> export file Problem

I have been using my new BikeErg and ergData and mostly enjoying the experience, no great results to report. I have though got a few observations about using ergData on the BE. 1) If you verify the df before a ranking session the fan isn't allowed to stop before you start the actual session so the f...

The answer to both those problems is use Boatcoach. :) ps I'm not connected to BC except use it.

Add in a C-breeze for those hot days. A tablet/phone holder.

Re: Android OTG + PM3 + Ergdata

Allen, I may be naive but you don't need a mouse in the setup at all ... just connect the phone/tablet to the cable and the cable to the PM3 in the USB type B socket that is the square looking one. Start ergdata (or boatcoach).

Really happy that he is in Sub-7 ... the only one of his PBs I am anywhere near is his FM ... and that was a few years ago.

Re: Sub 7 Indoor Rowing Club (UK)

Until yesterday afternoon I didn't think I'd do it either :o Have now posted an update including yesterday's FM. I knew you could ... but I thought you would have had a BR/WR sometime in your career and didn't want to do it again... I'm digging a pit. :) Well done on your first FM. Sorry to steal y...

Re: Soon to be New Model D Owner

Congrats on your purchase. In no particular order. Join an online team, plenty to choose from, Sub-7 IRC is the best ... but I'm biased and then compete in the many online competitions, (c2ctc.com and indoorrowers.org) Take part in an indoor rowing championship. National or international, local. Che...

You can also get an android to usb cable to connect the PM4 to a phone, you used to be able to get an iOs cable too but it seems to have been discontinued.
