Point out the wonky threads with the report button and they can be locked. This is a forum funded by Concept2 not a blog hosting site. Again I ask: why the disparate treatment between two members of this community? I personally don't view anyone who asks for encouragement or advice as "wonky." Isn'...

New PR for me today - first since sometime in 2018, I think. Pulled a 21:51.5 on a 6k.

Congratulations!
That is a great time.

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

Finally got the pacing of the 10k figured out. My former PB was 36:55, and I have tried 4-5 times lately to go sub 36, but not being able to. Today was finally the day, and happy not only to break it, but crushing it 😎💪 New PB: 35:24.1 :) WOW! :o Congratulations! That is an amazing improvement on a...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

6k Time Trial 21:55.9 New British Record in the 60-69 Lightweight Category (The ''Little Old Men'' ) [/u] I improved the record I set a year ago by 3.7 seconds. I posted this in the training thread but putting it here as well as it's an ''all time'' PB....which shows I should have taken this ...

Re: Childish behavier.

I don't think it would be difficult to change, but at the moment one can only verify distances/times for the ranking distances/times. So, for instance, when I did my 50 k a month or so, I got the verification code from my machine, but I can't verify the row in the logbook, because 50 k isn't a rank...

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.

As many on the team know, six years ago I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. I've been undergoing chemo since that time, but at long last, I am done. This week was my last chemo infusion. Woo hoo!!! I've had incredible support from many team members, and I am forever grateful. I am especially gra...

Re: Hit my million!

Ok, I know this is pretty lame, but I hit my first million meters yesterday, and I'm stupidly happy about it. I'm 67, and I started indoor rowing almost exactly six months ago. I've enjoyed discovering how I respond to different mixes of intervals and varying lengths of steady-state rowing. Also, I...

But I completed my first Concept 2 challenge, I rowed 20 days in January! And most days I did more than the required 500m. So I hope it's OK that I joined.
Congratulations on finishing the challenge!
Good job on sticking with it all, and really working at helping your health and well-being.

Re: Wr 500m Phil Clap

No, that's not what I meant. In fact quite the opposite: he is clearly not on the juice. I hadn't seen him before, but as he excels in the shorter sprints, I was expecting to see a - shall we say - more heavily muscled individual. I did think that you meant that you thought he was 'not on the juice...
