Re: Pete Plan Thread

@OTW - thanks, but I guarantee you, I could not have gone faster on the last one. Next round, though, maybe. Cycle 4/ Week 3/ Day 5 Steady State HM with 25 spm @ 2:06. Felt pretty good. Legs are a bit bruised up from sprints this week, but overall happy with how today felt. Not sure which piece to ...

Thanks! Hopefully it'll be around my 2k split considering that 500s are definitely not one of my strong points.

As an OTW rower I hold the handle with 4 fingers around and Thumbs wrapped round underneath, but facing forward in parallel with one another.

Re: Pete Plan Thread

Pleased with my 2KTT today. New PR of 8:07.6! Felt in control up to the last 396m where I really needed to dig in. Can't figure out how to put all of the Splits from my Logbook in here, so will just put part of the top line up for now. 8:07.6 2,000m 2:01.9 28 Great job. It's always nice to get a ne...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Any thoughts? If you're planning on doing a serious 2k test sometime soon then you'll benefit from some speed work (the workouts you've mentioned plus any similar ones). Other than that don't compare yourself too closely to people like David and Velo Mark: both of them are fully grown adults and pr...

Re: Pete Plan Thread

Good Day, No worries on the new thread. I really hope we can get some new folks to join the forum and see how awesome this plan can be not only for the 2k time, but fitness in general. I plan or using the Pete Plan for two more cycles, during which I will compete in The Northeast Erg Sprints, The M...

https://instagram.com/p/BdbRczxg0ES/ Another 10x 100m r2 set of sprints with another lifetime PR of 1:07.9 avg! That is huge, well done. I can't even get my split below 1:24 so that is very impressive! @Scott - nicely done. I agree with everyone else, even if you're not sub 7 yet you're mighty clos...

Nice job Stu. Impressive distance! To say it's your first ever 30r20 that is pretty damned good.

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

Thanks everyone. Hopefully sub 7 isn't too far off, I'd say a couple of months.

Great job Jmac, they're some good times considering that you are very much a sprinter. You can only get better at long distance by doing long distance!
