Help! I'm trying to diagnose this problem, and was on a support call with concept 2 rower. I was thinking about replacing the flywheel or the bearing/axle. Does anyone have experience with this?
I recorded the noise at this link.

Thanks for your help!!
Model D - Clicking noise from dropping rower :-(
Re: Model D - Clicking noise from dropping rower :-(
I wouldn't order parts until you know what you need. Start by taking off the perforated cover to hopefully see what is making the sound, then continue to disassemble if needed to find the part.
Re: Model D - Clicking noise from dropping rower :-(
Do Model D's have balance weights on the flywheel? My C does. It might be something as simple as that.
As Jag said, pull the cover and see if there is anything obvious.
Good Luck

Just unpacked a new model d and have the same clicking sound happening. Was there ever a fix for this issue? Thanks.

It sounds to me like something loose hitting the same projection on each revolution. Should be easy to spot when the cover is removed, as previously suggested.
Mark Underwood. Rower first, cyclist too.
