Polar H7 with PM3

Post by kipkeino68 » December 12th, 2019, 7:39 pm

I have the PM3. I just bought the Polar H7 strap. It's not working. Any ideas? Thank you.

I have a Polar heart rate strap (not sure which model it is). With a PM3 you need a pickup that is wired to the monitor. C2 sells those. It's part number 1747. I have one on both my model C/PM3 and model B/PM2. Works great.

I have that part. It worked fine with my old HR strap. I lost my old strap. This is the second H7 strap I've bought. I returned the first one thinking it was defected. Got the second one today. No luck.

You're right, part # 1747 is the whole setup, including the strap. Sorry. I see that C2 sells the H7, so maybe it's a bad connection from the pickup to the monitor (unplug and clean the pin on both the monitor and pickup end).

Sometimes when I don't get a good connection on my skin, it doesn't read or reads sporadically. I use an electrode gel and a little salt water and once I start sweating it works consistently.
