Scary Minute after PM5 Firmware Update

Post by BobD » January 12th, 2025, 1:14 pm

Today I updated my PM5 Firmware to the latest version. All went well. Then I sat down to "Just Row". At the first pull om the grip, the PM5 Crashed with a display full of error codes. I turned the PM5 off by holding the Menu button down and now all seems OK. 1500meters rowed. Fingers crossed.

Thanks Carl. If it does it again, I'll do the factory reset. 👍

Separate question, does factory reseting reset lifetime meters rowed on the erd? or how does it store that information? I have been curious if you buy an older machine but put a new pm5 on it does it still store all of that data somehow.

Factory Default reset is just that, it resets everything including the Odo to zero.

It pays to run a Concept 2 Online LogBook, its in the cloud and you never lose the data.

I used to factory default reset the monitor at the start of every rowing season.
