Chain Guide

Post by marvy1 » February 15th, 2007, 12:33 pm

Hi - I'm a new user of a model D.

I noticed the chain guide (where the handle rests for storage) is getting a little scratched up. Probably from the handle rubbing against it when moving the machine.

No biggie, but have you notice your chain guide getting a little scratched up?

Thanks - Marvin

That and the "bumper" (where the chain goes through the monitor bracket) are probably the only thing on a C2 that might show visible wear. As you say - No biggie since doesn't affect performance one bit.

I'll add that C2 recommends leaving the handle out of the storage bracket when the erg is not in use. It relaxes the bungies - but they also pretty much live for years. Wish my car was as well made.
If you don't try, you will never know how bad you suck.
