Log Card problem.

Post by Parky » April 1st, 2019, 9:51 am

I have just filled my Log Card and have been trying to delete workouts to make some more space.
I had 3 seasons on the card using 3 named users (myname - 1, 2 & 3). I have deleted users 1 & 2 but still have no space, so I decided to format the card.
I could have done that in the first instance and cleared the lot without problems, but since I deleted the 2 user names there is no option to do this.

Do I need a new card and break the bank again?

It's NAND flash memory, that wears out after a number of write cycles. So it's time for a new card.

You can format the card using the PM3 or PM4 itself, its a hidden menu.

If that doesn't work the card is stuffed and you need a new one. I have had a couple come my way with weird problems so if they don't work after a format, toss it in the bin.

Go into the second screen of the product ID screen and press change units three times then change display three times and hit the FORMAT CARD.

Card now formatted....

I got the option when I deleted User 3 with a message to leave log card in and press format to continue..

All that fuss over a fiver!

(There was no option on the ID screen, or anywhere else for that matter, no matter how many times I pressed it)

Just totally format the card and you need to re-enter the users and start from scratch.

If the card still throws errors of any kind then toss it in the bin or it will have you pulling your hair out.
