PM5 does not turn off

The screen of my PM5 (26 months old) does not turn off after my trainings. When I finish my exercise, I turn it off by pushing 4 times the menu button. But it turns on again. I have to remove the batteries to stop it.
This "behaviour" happens since 6 weeks aproximately. I have the latest firmware.
Model D/E, Hardware Version 907, PM5 Firmware Version 215
Has anybody an idea ?
Thanks,
Klaus

Factory default reset it then make sure the firmware is up to date.
In a few instances I have found that the keypad carbon comes off and sticks to the gold key contacts of the PCB causing a short. This would only typically happen on older units but as any key can power it "On" rather than just one key, it increases the odds of it happening.
The keys and the keypad are easily cleaned with some IPA and a cotton bud.

Hi Carl, if the problem was a key triggering by itself, that would happen also during rowing sessions (screen would change, or something), but I never had this. I even tried to wiggle each key very lightly to see if contact was made but that's not the case.

It seems (hopefully) to be fixed

.
I disconnected the plug of the display power supply and put it again more firmly. After this the problem has not occured once again, up to now. I have not done the factory default yet.
Thanks,
Martin
