How To Adjust Footrests

Post by michaeln » January 26th, 2007, 11:09 am

Hi, dumb newbie question here:

I see the footrests on my new model D are adjustable, but what is the proper way to adjust them? I understand HOW (lift up, clear holes, select new holes, lower), but how do I adjust them properly for ME?

There are several descriptions of how to get it to the right place. One of them is to have the bottom edge of the strap cross your shoe where it bends if you go up on your toes. That way your heel can rise easily at the catch.

Another says that your ankle should be at about rail height.

I'm sure other opinions will be forthcoming...

Good luck!
