I was rowing a PB 500M. At the end of the row, my screen went blank, instead of registering the completed information? I checked my memory and it was entirely wiped out?
I scrolled through the menu and started rerowing and everything seems to be working and my memory is recording again? My machine Model D PM3 is only about two months old. Was this just a glitch or is my battery going dead? Does the memory only hold so much and then reset?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I can easily row the 500 over again, but I would hate to have this happen on a longer distance PB attempt.
Thanks

So
1. Upgrade it to V101.
2. Get a logcard.
Well, I guess I bought my machine one month too early. My computer is a long way from my rower, so it's just gonna have to wait. I don't use the logcard, because I don't have a reader and again my Mac is in a remote area. Oh well, I just hope it doesn't happen too often.

The OmniKey card reader is excellent. My rower is 5Km from my house.2whlrcr wrote:My computer is a long way from my rower, so it's just gonna have to wait. I don't use the logcard, because I don't have a reader and again my Mac is in a remote area. Oh well, I just hope it doesn't happen too often.
If you have a 9/16th spanner your PM3 can be next to your Mac in less that a minute. It's only held onto the monitor arm with a single nut/bolt.
The V6 logcard reader software includes the firmware updater, that runs on a Mac.
