How long does it take for posted topics to show up?

It arrived here on saturday @ 12:47 am, PDT. At what time did you send it? Since this forum does not have pre-post moderation, the only delays are heavy internet traffic and/or overly convoluted transmission routes. Normally a few milliseconds are probably enough. The board is set up to force a moderation of first-time posters, so apologies if there was a delay in getting to releasing your first one. Given that over 100 genuine spam posts didn't make it through today, I'm sure everyone prefers it this way around.

It also didn't help that I was away on my grand cycling tour of Yorkshire and Essex (for stages #1, #2 & #3 of the TdF).
