Searching Issue

Post by jliddil » March 29th, 2010, 11:00 am

So how come I can't search on the word marathon (too common) but I can search on pacing? Makes it kind of hard to find postings about rowing a marathon

Google with "http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ma ... 2forum.com" gets 615 results for marathon. A similar search for "pacing" gets only 22 hits.

Yeah, I know I can use google. But why doesn't the built in search work for something that is "common".

Yeah, that is an overly-restrictive definition of common. I've changed the settings and reindexed the site, so searching for marathon should now work.

Thanks. Sounds like a wise change.
