Erg App prompts if your done workout during rest cycle of intervals

Post by U9rXDJZh56 » March 22nd, 2019, 11:15 pm

Environment:
Android and iOS (I've seen it on both(

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Pair the ErgData app with a PM5
  2. Setup intervals on the PM5
  3. Start Rowing and complete the first interval
  4. During the rest cycle do not row.
Expected:
  • ErgData app should also track the rest period.
  • It should know you are still working out.
  • It should also record your HRM during the rest cycle so you can track your ability to recover.
  • This should also be in your training log.
Observed:
  • ErgData App prompts you if you are done your workout when you stop rowing.
  • No rest-cycle recovery data is recorded.

Ergdata knows the interval clock is counting down so it should suppress that prompt. It's just bad UI/UX design.

Report it by email to rowing@concept2.com

Yeah, on my next workout I just ignored it and you're right. It doesn't matter.
But definitely a UI bug.

Would be better if it recorded my HRM the whole time though.
