I'm a new user and just tried to install the utility software version 6.77. It halts with Error 1303 The installer has insufficient privilege to access D:\My Documents\Concept2, please contact .......

Running the installer as Administrator does not change the outcome. Clicking "retry" several times is also a no go. This is on a PC, Win7 64 Bit.

Note that the "my documents" folder is on drive D. I use an SSD for drive C and only the OS and other necessary applications are on that drive.

I have sent a note to customer support but decided to post here also.

Any Ideas out there?

Have you un-installed all previous versions?

Can you try START menu --> All programs --> Accessories --> Command prompt (run as administrator)[1]

When the admin command prompt window opens run If that doesn't work call Concept2 at 1-800 245 5676

Having quite a bit of trouble with this new version on Windows 8 as well.

It just doesn't work at all to start with, keeps telling you to put in a logcard then just throws an dialogue box to tell you its stopped working and it exits.

Leave it alone a few days and it would appear that Windows may fix itself (Windows 8 is good like that) and goes off by itself as part of the Updates to find a few files it needs to run this properly. Perhaps it's missing a .NET update or something but eventually it appears to work. Clearly Windows is not bundled with what it needs by default to run 6.77 properly.

Tried it on two PC's and same problem.

I would say don't install this if you have a PM3 or PM4, stay with an older version. I guess you have no choice if you have a PM5.
