Training

Post by [old] remador » November 24th, 2005, 7:28 am

Had little time for training, yesterday. As it was weight-lifting day, I made only deadlifts, which work overall strength and save time:

w/up:
15' light rowing
5' light squats

3x3x122kg

3x2x142kg

3x1x162kg

stretching

At 162kg (2,16 x my body weight), lower back really contracts. Felt I could go further, though.

AM

Today i did 30 minutes.

Monday i didn't train because i didn't feel like it. I drank to much in the pub on sunday after a 25 km walk through the hills and the mud of Nijmegen and was feeling not in my best shape on monday.
On tuesday i did a relaxed 30 minutes. The meter stopped at 8072. When i filled in the logbook i saw that it was my SB with 57 metres more than 6 months ago.

I did it relaxed last tuesday so i thought that i could easily break my SB today and maybe my PB which is 123 metres more by starting a bit faster than tuesday where the first 10 minutes were in about 1:55.
Today i started the first 10 in 1:51, 30 minutes ended in only 8058 metres

3 k 149.2

2,5 k 147,8

2 k 145.0

in/out /recovery 3/4 k

actif recovery 6 min, free pace.

Although the first 1 was only pace 23 due to the recent low rate training I am beginning to pick up.
As a hole satisfied except for my hands, the gym bought new ergs and the handels on those things give me blisters.
