Absolutely flat calm last night - out in a single. OK so my technique is still woeful, but after a crap day at work, rubbish traffic getting to the lake, it was peaceful with a capital P

I've only been OTW for a couple of years now but have come to consider flat water to one of the great joys in life. May you have many more such days in the near future.

Out tonight - flat calm again
but grey sky and drizzle this time 
First time in a double scull rather than usual single and a skinny one too
Was a bit dubious when looking at the boat on the rack thinking hmmm this is a bit narrow but the more recreational based Wintech double was awaiting repairs - but it was great! Fastest for sure have been down the lake and we didn't have any major wobbles either - the conditions helped for sure. Looking forward to next week already although my hands and back might disagree
