Oh now that's just cool. Wouldn't it be something if she helps them win this year.

Thor Update

Post by Thor MW » March 13th, 2015, 1:17 pm

Hello Friends
I have been plagued with many issues of late including computer and knots in my back that would kill a lesser man. Um, something like that. Grin.
Even the PM4 is not happy with the new phone. Ergdata doesn’t save my workouts right away. Says something about doing an update to the PM4. Sure, I would if I could. Unfortunately I don’t think this is accessible. I will see if I can do so using skype and having someone tell me what to do. Where there’s a will and all that. Haha
I put in 2500M yesterday and 5K today. I am really hoping this will help with the knots. If not I will lift some weights and see if that will make things better. For now though row and see what happens. Other than this stuff I have been quite well. Maybe I will try another 5K later before bed.
Glad to see everyone is doing fine and the meters are being racked up. Some very impressive milestones being met too. Wow, what a team!!!
Have fun all.
Finding my hammer again.
Love T

All In A Couple of Days of Erging! Team Progress Thru 3.13.

Post by Kona2 » March 14th, 2015, 11:48 am

Image Pi Day, Pi Hour....ten digits in the neverending sequence! Woot !

Welcome to E Vos!

If you've rowed or ski-erged a special sequence in the last two days, and it's hidden because I didn't post yesterday  , post your numbers on the team page and we will celebrate their uniqueness!

Some days are busy, busy and yesterday was a cool one. Boulder County has been working on a program that they call Bus-Then-Bike or Bike Then Bus depending upon which one you're doing. It's designed to give commuters who live farther than walking distance from a station, the ability to ride their bike to and from that final mile or two. The program provides secure bicycle storage for a specific number of bikes in a card-accessed, covered shelter. They have four stations located throughout their county; some are more basic than others, depending upon whether they need to stack the bikes due to floor space constraints.

Season meters as of 317/365 = 103,581,305 m

New Luna-Tics Logo

Post by Kona2 » March 14th, 2015, 12:01 pm

We do have an updated Luna-Tics logo, thanks to AJ. He has provided me with the higher resolution graphic that I can send out to folks who might wish to put this onto a garment of their choice. AJ did a nice job incorporating the ski-erg into the wheel....Zazzle is pretty easy to work with on these.

Oh man, grin. Is that a PM4 or 5? Maybe you could get a memory stick or log card to save it to more easily?
I now have the heart belt connected to the phone and I think it saved today's little 5K with no problem. come to think of it I haven't gone to my log site to check. Hmm. I had to take the PM off and take it to the living room where the internet works well. Get on Skype and get someone to read the buttons to me. I connected to my phone and all appears to be fine now. Here's hoping it holds.
Have fun.

gREETINg's fellow Lunies,
The march madness challenge was just what i needed to get my butt back on my Rower who I've named Hilga(she's tough but fair and calls me out on my excuses). I suffered a small fracture on my upper left tibia a week before Christmas and I've been working on increasing my mobility with my knee. It's been a challenge but nothing that can't be overcome with a good state of mind.

If you're like me, sometimes i listen to music during my rowing and i wanted to share one piece with you to help get you through your daily 5k or 10,000 meters.

if you've watched the movie Interstellar then please proceed to 'listen' to the youtube link. ( if you haven't seen Interstellar, beware of Spoilers)

I've added this https://youtu.be/bYa5luHb2DA to my music playlist and i use it to challenge myself and push myself to keep good rowing form while increasing my row stroke. it's a little something that i use to help push myself and it's actually pretty fun once you put yourself in that state of mind. Imagination is sometimes the key to completing rowing workouts...at least for me since the tv where my rower is located is stuck on ABC Family and i am so sick of Boy Meet's World. (no offense to anyone who enjoys that show)
Are you a Lebowski Achiever?
