Looking festive for Holiday Challenge meters today here at Reindeer Central ! Day 17 of 29 brings us TWO more reindeer (Gene and Lily) to bring our herd total to 31....there's room for more!
New reindeer: Congratulations on earning the first $2.00 !!

Starlight (Gene)

Jingle Belle (Lily)
So many are close to their Holiday Challenge milestones! Melissa is only 1,000 m away from claiming her reindeer, and Doug G is less than 10 K from antler lights !
Took me a little while to find the graphic below in the Reindeer Chronicles. I am pretty sure that the 2011 Holiday Challenge was the one where we encouraged all the Rowing Universe (not sure if ski ergs were around just yet) to FINALLY get to the $30K donation level...and the Universe Conspired to make it so. Ever since then, the goal has been met. I particularly like this graphic just because it shows the various tipping points, such as when the erging universe makes it to $10K (we're not there). It seems that no matter how many participants, it still takes 18 or 19 days to reach the first $10K...and then we start REALLY moving the rocket ship towards goal. So rock on, Lunies!
MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:
2.05 MM Ronnie
1.85 MM Roger
1.4 MM Danwho
650 K Steve H
600 K Stuart
250 K Jane
Thanks, everyone, for rowing and ski-erging with us!

getting ready to watch 3A championship game. Team that beat Tristans team playing. With a 6'3" 285lb and 6'8" 320lb linemen, they are pretty impressive.

The hammer has indeed been swinging freely of late. I got my 4 million lifetime today. I only need 977,389M until the big 5. Yep that's all. haha.
K2 will update you on the other milestone.
It has been about a year since I joined the Luna Tics. I think I have rowed around 3.5 million since then. I've said it before and I will say it again. Thank you folks for keeping this fun and interesting. I had no idea that one could even row so much in one day until I joined and saw it being done. There are no barriers just limitations we place on ourselves. Thanks all.
Love Thor

Awesome Thor! Great accomplishment... Agree on no barriers - just have to tell myself not to listen to the hind end at times and work through it.
The next 977,389 will come quick.
Take care,
Ed

Congratulations, Mighty Thor! That's some determined rowing. At that rate you'll reach 5 MM meters soon, perhaps in the next challenge.

Congratulations, Thor, on achieving FOUR million lifetime meters! We wish you many, MANY more!
Having trouble with the photobucket images - otherwise, they would definitely be there!

Thor (Thor)
And worth the wait it was too. Grin. Funny, I was planning on the 300K and that would be enough. The last few days I've been rowing a lot. I might just hit the 500K this go around.
Have fun and a big way to go to everyone. Let's hit that 30 grand! There's still what, 10 days left. Get rock'n and rowing!
Rock and row aint noise pollution. ACDC
I like that old time rock and row
That kind of movement just soothes my soul. Bob Segar
Have fun.
