Looking to join a team

Post by justsilverman » March 21st, 2020, 10:15 am

Hi everyone -

I’ve been rowing since last September when I joined a novice masters team in the SF Bay Area. Before shelter in place, I was usually on the water 2-3 days a weeks and on an erg 2-3 days a week. I’d love to be part of a team for the community and to help me be more consistent.

Not sure if this matters, but I’m 38.

Thanks in advance!
Justin

Hi Justin

You'd be welcome over at the Forum Flyers. We've been around for a long time, and have a diverse membership across different fitness and speed levels. Pop over to the team thread and introduce yourself, if no other team tries to compete for your attention. :)

Cheers
Dave

Hi Justin - the Flyers are always open for people from all over and all levels - you would be most welcome. Have a look on the thread. You can still sign up for the world erg challenge and then start on the CTC challenge as well.

Hi, I'm looking for a team for the spring series VIII team challenge coming up that concept 2 are running, here https://log.concept2.com/challenges/lea ... 1579476149

We could create a team and get some others to make up the 8. What do you think?

Please see discussion of Spring VIII weekly series on Forum Flyers team page. Captain Dave Moores is planning to make boat assignments so all we got to do is row.
