Just wanted to mention that Jim Thorpe was born on this day in 1887 or 1888, there is a discrepancy in the records. Besides being the ultimate Olympian, winning both the pentathalon and decathalon in 1912, he had a successful baseball and football career. He also excelled at rowing and won many races. He was voted the greatest athlete of the first half of the 20th century.

Wish me luck on the weather tomorrow. Morning - second OTW rowing class, after the first was rescheduled from the flood. Late afternoon, younger daughter's high school graduation, outdoor ceremony that gets moved a long distance to an area college campus if rained out. And older daughter's college graduation two weeks ago was rained out and moved inside. Why am I in the South??????
