All right, motoids, Greg & Dena are going to set me up as captain, and I'll get Moto Madmen and Women signed up for NARC. I'll let y'all know when it's done, and I'll probably post a little recruiting notice, in case there are unaffiliated moto-heads just wishing for a team to join.
In the meantime: Pull! Pull! Pull!

Isn't tomorrow the last day to join?

Or today, depending on what "midnight on the 28th" means. I keep checking my Team page to see if I've got the management link, and I'll prod C2 if they haven't hooked me up in the next few hours.

This morning I did a 6k test. We're doing them monthly with my rowing club (which is a huge factor in why I haven't done a 2k test for ages). I thought I was chillin' and going slow but somehow I had the wrong split in my mind. I ended up pulling only 0.7sec off my pb, but it felt so easy. It was sweet. I can't wait to kill it next month!

Nice!
And... we're in! I'll post up a Team MOTO shout-out shortly.

I posted this on the KTM board but thought I would include it here for everyone else to see:
Ok, just for shits and giggles, I decided to do a 2k time trial today. No rest (rowed yesterday), no taper; just felt like seeing what I could do. Shattered my previous best of 7:44.2 with a 7:31.5 (-12.7 seconds)!

Nicely done Steve!
Are you the only one to do the 2k test?
I have barely been on the erg in the last couple of weeks. Too much playing in the dirt and on the lake, so my only milage has been as part of a warmup for something else. I'm afraid my NARC performance isn't quite what my JVC was!

Thanks, Michelle! Yeah, I think you and I were the only ones talking about doing it and, since you're busy riding, that leaves me as the only one. Oh well.

Hey I'm doing monthly 6k tests, that's gotta count for something! Maybe it's time you did a 6k -you should be able to hold 10 higher than your avg/500 for the 2000. Give it a go...

hmmm... You totally kill me in the 2k by like 30 seconds or something, But I've got 26 seconds on you for the 6k. If we could blend your strength with my endurance we'd kick ass!

Well, I guess that I will have to re-row that piece then. I can't be beaten by a chick

In my defense, that row was 5-minutes after a brief interval row (Tabata) and a hard lift yesterday. I know I could find 26 seconds in there somewhere.
