Good plan! We'd have to save up a lot of meters for the planned commercial flights. And, yikes if you are a test pilot...

Good grief, I missed the bit about one 200+ pound pumpkin needing to take over half my back yard! I can't decide if that is a marvelous thing, or plain ridiculous; meanwhile, I am thinking polite sized pumpkins that don't require their own zip code. That might put me out of the running, for winning the 2015 Lunie Great Pumpkin competition, but I'll still be in the race!

Your grandchildren will be delighted if you grow pumpkins that they can pick up!

But, for me, adding the Donovan soundtrack sealed the deal.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 11.3.14

Post by Kona2 » November 4th, 2014, 11:17 am

Image Whoa...these first few days after the Fall back are brutal....tough enough to reset our own internal clocks....practically IMPOSSIBLE to quickly reset the stomach clocks of the dogs and cat. Especially the cat.

As Kristine noted a few posts ago, it's definitely time to be getting ready for the Holiday Challenge...maybe it's the Holiday Challenge pins that sometimes languish in your desk drawer...and maybe it's just tradition!...but chances are that many of us first started rowing Challenges with the Holiday Challenge of whatever year it might have been. This year, looks like we have 28 days to knock down the 200,000 m required for the pin. That means rowing or ski-erging a little over 7K a day if you row every day, and putting in a 10K if you're only using five days a week. You can do it !

Season meters as of 187/365 = 43,389,327 m

Total meters on the day = 272,056 m

MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:

2.8 MM Steve G
1.15 MM Stephen
900 K AJ
200 K K2

Thanks, everyone, for rowing and ski-erging with us!

Richard T 1,000 m
Tony ImageImageImageImage m ...a repeater kind of palindrome!
Kristine 2,193 m
Steven D 2,707 m
Ross 3,538 m

Kerry 5,612 m
David T 6,000 m
Teresa 7,721 m
Bernie 8,021 m
Dan O' 9,323 m
Mikkel 10,000 m
Stuart 10,724 m
Minnie ImageImageImageImageImage m ... hula hula palindrome!
Howard ImageImageImageImage Image m ..who knew there would be a whovian palindrome from the motorcycle man?!
bg 12,452 m

David A 14,764 m
Dominic 15,534 m
Peter G 16,537 m
Steve G 20,281 m
Ed ImageImageImageImageImage m ... a palindrome by our man in Qatar!
Stephen 56,938 m ... good update!

Bad day but not a blowout. Don't start taunting or the ref will throw the penalty flag.
