Good plan! We'd have to save up a lot of meters for the planned commercial flights. And, yikes if you are a test pilot...just27 wrote:This has been a tough week for space flights. My space travel is now officially limited to our Lunatic round-trips to the moon, and to Star Trek reruns.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Good grief, I missed the bit about one 200+ pound pumpkin needing to take over half my back yard! I can't decide if that is a marvelous thing, or plain ridiculous; meanwhile, I am thinking polite sized pumpkins that don't require their own zip code. That might put me out of the running, for winning the 2015 Lunie Great Pumpkin competition, but I'll still be in the race!just27 wrote:... Sounds fun. I'm in, with my garden corner already scoped out ... do we share seeds, and information about soil prep?Kona2 wrote:Richard T and I are going to have a pumpkin growing contest next year. Since I do not have a huge garden space that I am willing to devote to just ONE pumpkin, I am going to try and get a 100 to 200 lb pumpkin. ... if anyone else wants to enter this pumpkin challenge, I think it would be a Lunie thing to do!

Your grandchildren will be delighted if you grow pumpkins that they can pick up!

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 11.3.14

As Kristine noted a few posts ago, it's definitely time to be getting ready for the Holiday Challenge...maybe it's the Holiday Challenge pins that sometimes languish in your desk drawer...and maybe it's just tradition!...but chances are that many of us first started rowing Challenges with the Holiday Challenge of whatever year it might have been. This year, looks like we have 28 days to knock down the 200,000 m required for the pin. That means rowing or ski-erging a little over 7K a day if you row every day, and putting in a 10K if you're only using five days a week. You can do it !
