Whoop, whoop and what a first month of the 2020 season! Congratulations, Ed, on a stellar start (or continuation!)! Ed's nearing the one and half orbit milestone as he gets closer to 60 million lifetime meters! Wowzer and hooyah! We wish you many, MANY more millions!
Thanks Kona! Always like it when I achieve a goal I set out for... today I turned 59, so I rowed a 50,000 meter and a 9,000. Felt pretty good to accomplish also. I get a little relaxation next week as it is EID holidays here. I will be off the erg for a week as I get to fly to Barcelona and meet up with one of my co-workers and relax on his 58 foot sailboat. Been talking about for over a year and finally decided to make it happen. So looking forward to the adventure.

I’m sure I will find a place I can get some rowing time on the water.

Thanks again for all you do for us!

Happy rowing,

Ed
Well done Ed, happy birthday and enjoy Barcelona...

Weather changing in the Harbour City, getting cold...! And speaking of colds, I joked with someone the other day I haven't had a head cold since I "graduated" from paid work two years ago. Well, that tempted fate, I've now got a head cold and been relegated to the couch for the past few days. Although hoping it goes quickly as Janet and I are planning to be in the bush over the next couple of weeks.

Good luck and rowing to all, Cheers Baz B)

Apologies for not contributing very meters team, but 2 weeks ago was spent in Vegas bowling in the national bowling tournament, and this weekend I spent putting up a shed (well, most of it) in my backyard with my father-in-law, which is a wholly different kind of torture. Hoping to finish that tonight, then really start working on the erg every day to rack up meters, and knock down some lbs.!

It's all good, Corey! I can relate to backyard projects...on both levels. We'll be delighted to celebrate your meter contributions whenever you get them done!

Early in the AM on days when it's plenty warm enough to have the house opened up, I hear these cows mooing. They'll be moved to different fields as the summer and area development progresses, but for now it's a fine summmmr sound. Mixes well with all the birds.

It is real!! Hotel Costa Verde in Costa Rica. As for the Concept2 equipment in the cockpit..., well, let's just say that would be a suggestion.
