Yep Dutch here, Amstelveen, which is a town south of Amsterdam, glued to it. To us SA sounds nice, you guys do use different words sometimes, but those are Dutch still. Shows how rapidly a language can change.
Same a bit with Flemish in Belgium, fully Dutch also, but again with different words.
You should come and visit SA. I'm sure you would enjoy it a lot.

Nice dude! Go Cape Town. Now we just need to move a little up on the rankings and get a few more South Africans.

By the way - is anyone doing the Skeleton Crew challenge?

Missed this one, quoting went wrong I see.

We certainly have that in mind, so different from Europa that it certainly would be a thing you have to do.

Ps with quoting, also remove upper lines, except ofcourse your own, which is your own.

Hi Sam - great to have you "On Board" - hope the challenges will help with training and best of luck the erg is a great fitness tool
Where are you based?
You are by the way a serious beast!!
I'm 6'7'', 35 and currently 125kg. I'm looking at getting leaner via rowing. Aiming for 5 cardio sessions a week at 20 minutes.
The reason I am looking at rowing is that I have lower back pain. Basically, got too fat for my frame. Doctor says this pain is musco-skeletal and that I need to lose weight and build up my core again and that rowing - with some good form - and physio could help in the longer term. So here goes.
BTW - just noticed you are entered in the "Once were Tribesports" team not the Forum Flyers!! Just go back in and edit the profile to change the team.

Good pickup at the end there, Jack. Hopefully not an injury that has kept you off the machine this month.

Hey Dave. Busy month I guess. Nothing wrong that an 18 yr. old body and a 30 yr. old brain wouldn’t fix. When I sprint, The Bear licks his chops. :?

LWM the customary scenario but either HWF or an additional LWF can fill the empty seat. If i was a LWF, I’d go quicker than Jack and get a ride in boat IV, leaving the seat in V to ? No sign of Mel yet. She would claim the top spot and , , ,

There were five in the boat
But a faster one said:
Roll over, roll over!
So they all rolled over
And one rolled out
There were five in the boat
But a faster one said . . .

Not sure with Mel - she is a random entrant Jack and I am not in touch with her
I prevailed on my friend Kathleen at the AIRC who is a long time OTW rower and the OTE coordinator for RA to have a go at the 666 and she delivered nicely @1:52.6. Not sure if she will be a regular
just need a lwt to float boat5

BTW November is:

1000m rest.3'30"
750m rest.2'30
500m rest. 1'30"
250m

Guest appearances and walkons help.
