Hello,
I got my C2 2 weeks ago. I really like it, however there's couple questions...
First to tire are my arms - biceps. I wonder if it has to do with my technique.
However, I liked to row when I was a kid in dorey type boat (seat not moving). I also watched the DVD and read the instructions, so it shouldn't be fundamentally wrong.
Does it mean C2 rowing works mostly upper body and arms? BTW, I saw the muscle diagrams on C2 web site.
What about legs? It certainly feels easy on the legs, but again I have fairly big legs.
I can get my HR up and the sweat going , but my biceps are the limiting factor at the moment.
In 2 weeks I wasn't able to raw continuously for more than 20 min. I am not trying to kill myself doing it, of course (yet).
new to C2 - tired arms?

You are pulling to early with your arms. Use your legs first by pushing yourself away from the catch, your body must be prepared for the load of the handle and you must move quickly to catch the flywheel. But once you've got it, you will not have to try to use your arms later in the stroke, as they won't be able to bend until the the pressure from the legs falls off.
The demo videos of rowing appear to show the example rower moving slowly away from the catch, they are actually trying to move quickly away, but the flywheel is holding them back. Give that a try.
