Tight Quadriceps

Post by vigtoire » April 4th, 2009, 3:49 pm

Hi,

Just rowed 10K PB and for the first time ever (post row) have got very tight quads - after stretching of course. Can anyone recommend some quad specific stretching exercises?

Cheers,

Simple. Row more, row longer, do strength/endurance work at low stroke rates.

The quads are the main muscle group you're using while rowing so some delayed onset muscle soreness is natural after a long hard row.
