I aim for 6 sessions a week. Alternating hard and recover workouts. Using the wolverine plan. Total distance about 85 to 100k per week. But I travel a lot and often disrupt that schedule.

Re: weekly rowing routines?
I did 12 sessions a week on the erg during the winter. I followed the Wolverine Plan. This is really only 2 speed sessions a week. I did no other workouts on those days. The rest of the week was consumed by two 12k rows at fixed paces based on the plan.
I've since gone to crosstraining 3 times a week and take those days off from rowing. The other 4 days have one session each OTW unless the weather is bad. I occasionally erg on top of this, but only on the days I also row OTW. My OTW rows are steady state for about an hour. I throw in some drills and practice my starts about once per week. This is actually much less training than I was doing in the winter, but switching from the erg to the water and adding a new sport for crosstraining are demanding. I doubt I will get back to a higher workload until head races in the fall or maybe even winter training. I'm more likely to add more drills until then.

Currntly using The Pete's Plan Beginning Row sessions starting with week 5 (now on week 7) as a recovery build up from a long layoff due to acute sinus infections impairing breathing. I like the Beginning Plan for recovery as it is structured around 3 rows (2 longer and gradually lengthening and 1 variable internval session) with 2 alternative sessions (one long and 1 interval) and good guidance on rating and goals for each session. I row a couple of longer 30-45 minute rows to gauge where I start to slow down and use that as the basis of what week to begin at. Also began to reintroduce 2 sculling sessions ont he weekend with objective to be back in a crew boat by mid July when I can sustain higher rating rows. When I reach the 10K longer row sessions in Pete's BP, will shift to either the 5K Plan (assuming OTW head race activity) or the Pete's Plan geared toward 2K racing over early winter, as these are proven structured plans.
I've used the Wolverine Plan in the past and it too is a very good plan. But you need to read and reread and reread everything Pete and Mike write on each session/workout so that you understand what you are trying to accomplish.

Re: weekly rowing routines?
I guess I'm like most people and you row as often as you can.
Work and getting too tired are the main barriers, otherwise this season is off to a good start with just over 6Km a day average at 2:00.2 pace.
Have had to do a few 45 min and 60 min rows as the 30min just is not good enough if you can only get 4 days a week in.
Never row to any plans, life gets in the way and it would just frustrate me knowing that I should be rowing and cannot get on the Erg. Also you just don't need a plan if you have RowPro, the motivation is always there.
It takes a while to get to know your body and what it can handle. I feel in a constant state of mild fatigue during the week but it only takes a day off to recover in the weekend.
