keep up the good work Kinley. Looks like you will make the HC. I know it has been difficult since little Beatrix's untimely departure. Loosing family is hard, I'm impressed that you've been able to stay with the HC so well this year. I'm cheering you on!

Congratulations on your new little dog. May take awhile for her to understand the crazy erg habits of her new family!

Looking forward to reading your post to let us know you finished!

I'm just shy of 250K. I'll probably row tomorrow, too, so I hope to reach 260+km.

Time to hang the stockings by the chimney with care. No more Holiday Challenge erging. Did 18K today which put me at 306,242 meters. Well short of my goal of 350,000 but not too shabby.

Congratulations to all who reached the C2 goals - or their own personal ones.

Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Alright! Way to go Kinley, Pete_M and coggs! Good job on the HC!

I had been trying for 300k; work, decorating and this blasted cold got in the way of that. I'm happy with my 240k.

I'm looking forward to the January challenge. Haven't decided on a team yet. I'm started to do some speed work on this great aerobic base I've built up. We'll see how fast I can get my split times. Then the trick will be maintaining the speed for any useful length of time!

Congratulations to all! Merry Christmas!

Post by pommery » December 24th, 2006, 11:32 pm

I finished yesterday with 14k for an exact total of 200k.
it feels great to be done. the past two years i did the 50k challenge but this was a whole different story.
a lot harder, and a lot better.
