New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
New PB for 500m by 1/10th of a second with a 1:37.0
The interesting thing is that it was my 8th and final 500m interval which makes me wonder what I could have done if I wasn't a bit tired.

@jlawson: I'm just trying to make it challenging for you.
At the rate you're improving, you'll catch me for sure. I'm just trying to delay the day.

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
I seriously doubt that. Your times have improved about the same percentage wise as mine over the last month or so. You are just killing it right now !gregsmith01748 wrote:@jlawson: I'm just trying to make it challenging for you.At the rate you're improving, you'll catch me for sure. I did however just set a HM record by 2 minutes but my technique was total crap the last half hour. During the last 15 minutes I slammed into the back of the slides almost on every stroke. I did however manage a 1:25:28.7

That's awesome. I've been scared to try to improve my HM time. I've failed in two attempts so far.

Good job, Greg! Interesting that it was not only faster than your first, but easier. I had the same experience on my first two.gregsmith01748 wrote:Full Marathon

10k PR
36:05.8 (1:48.3)
24 spm
Wasn't trying to go all out, just trying to beat a teammate. Probably could go a bit faster full out.
Beat last season's PR by 20 seconds

Or more likely the result of having a misconfigured PM3/PM4 monitor. If a PM3/PM4 on a model D is configured for model B/C then you will get world record beating times from an ordinary row.atblsb wrote:32:55.9 for the 10K. A new PB and world record!
Check on the product id page. If it's wrong it's easy to change on the hidden menu page.
That's one of the reasons why world records have to be rowed in a public gym with an independent witness.
Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
It is a valid record. The piece was rowed on a Model D and in a public area. Check out the 40-49 records later today or this week when updated. I rowed a 6:00 flat piece at the CRASH-B's this past February.

maybe start a blog on the uk forum, it's a lot more crowded there, would be nice to see how you train.
