Broke my 500 today, by a good amount.
Old: 1:44.8 - 3/8/06
New: 1:43.3 - 7/1/06
in 4 months 7 days , I improved 1.5 seconds
felt bad too, haha. so I will see what damage I can do later this year.

I'm sure you'll get lots of advice. I remember you posting about doing or not doing a 10K. If you can't go every day (and that's a lot) think about doing a 10K three times a week. Try your 2K pace plus 20 sec to start. Should be a nice, long relatively easy row, and just under an hour. You can work towards getting it to your 2K pace plus 15 sec over a two and a half month period.Ben Rea wrote:

Which recent events--L'il Kim's release from prison? A pregnant Brittany Spears posing nude on a magazine cover? The English soccer team's woeful performance taking penalty kicks?Ben Rea wrote: i dont think i will be as much of a frequent poster as i used to be because of all of the recent events.

I spoke to Kieran yesterday and he can not recall the exact splits of my 1000m row; he thinks that is what was on the monitor. This invalidates this 1K score, so I will have to now row this piece again. I will try in a week or so.Chad Williams wrote:Yes, I thought this too. I will have to check with Kieran, I was laying on the floor in a heap and he wanted to use the erg so wrote the data down for me.ancho wrote:Chad: Nice PB there, I can't hold that pace for 500 m! There are some inconsistencies in the splits?
Never be scared of making your body hurt, teach your body to enjoy the pain, learn to feed off it.jjpisano wrote:After such an experience of lying in a heap on the floor, doesn't it discourage you from wanting to do it again?
My target for WiRC 2007 is 5.53.0jjpisano wrote:So now that we know you can do a 1k @ 2:49.6, what's your 2k goal?
Even if you do supply the splits, how can you prove it? Was it witnessed? By who? Are they credible? Can you prove that they are? How do we know you didn't do a relay?Chad Williams wrote:Chad Williams wrote:New 1000m pb.I did it on my rest day, 30 minutes warm up and then 1000m hard.
