Next time, (tomorrow maybe

) start with pace 1:46,5 and see if you can hold on to that pace.
Tomorrow is Restday.
I don't need the 5k again. My goal for this season is to reach the Top10% (Age Category 40-49) on all distances between 500m and Marathon.

William, exceptional 10k for a 150lb LWT! Looks like you're local, I row with the Cooper River Masters over in New Jersey. Let me know if you're doing any local erg events.

Thanks Edward. I am fairly new to the erg (about a year and half) so I am not real familiar with the events. I would like to start entering into some events, so if you are familiar with events please let me about them.

Congrats Armando!! Super time.
Interesting that those barriers are so compelling.
I.e. Last week I read about Nike investigating the possibility to do a marathon under 2 hours.
Where in your pb you could gain those 6 seconds?
Don't be to hard on yourself . You managed to gain 50 seconds in 17 months. Impressing

Soft PB but a PB nonetheless (2nd ever attempt at the distance)...was going to do this last night but bailed at 5K. Felt much better today, even though I had cider at lunchtime.
More there...

Paul, 49M, 5'11" 83kg (sprint PBs HWT), ex biker now lifting
Deadlift=190kg, LP=1:15, 100m=15.7s, 1min=350m

Targets: 14s (100m), 355m+ 1min, 1:27(500m), 3:11(1K)
Erg on!

@Nico - cheers, a long way off troubling you now matey but *IF* I could go 1:20:xx at some point soon I'd be overjoyed. I am sure u will go sub 1:20:00 soon and that will look brilliant.

Sub1:20h is not so important for me (for now). I would rather be interested in sub2:48h at the Marathon.
