Congratulations ! :D
That is a long row to do when you have only been erging for 2 months. For some reason I think it's always nice to break a 'nice' number like 90 m.

Oh I row but we also do running at practice due to the lack of ergs (there are two other crews at the club at the same time).

Our practices usually go

40 Minutes of Running (Erging for Me)
40 Minutes of Weights/Calisthetics
40 Minutes of Erging (Intervals lately)

After a few solid months of this, can't wait to get on the water...

I put it as a 10k (since it was 100027m) in my log book to get the ranking and I just used the same splits. Here it is (in true negative split fashion)

40:00 2:04.3
32:00 2:03.2
24:00 2:00.3
16:00 1:57.7
8:00 1:53.5

Overall : 40' 10027m 1:59.6 @ 24
Well done Neb.

Do it next month as a 10K unrestricted and you can join in the Cross Team Challenge http://c2ctc.com (if your team isn't listed register as an independent).

Great job!

Now that you've done it, will you do it again? In the next three months? Seems like a really long time to someone who's never done more than 60 minutes. Also, really great times for only rowing 2 months. Particularly the 2K.

Nice effort Rubrix

New 6K PB tonight by 6 seconds 22.28.1 slightly disappointed as I thought I would be able to get inside 1:52. Suffered with a stitch so cannot complain really.
My back was niggling during the 5K afterwards so I need to be careful this weekend. Got a 30K planned this weekend as part of my FM build-up.

Finally i can write a PB again here in this topic! :D
It's a PB because it was the first time i did a HM.
I did it in 1:22:10:7 which put me number 57 on the 40-49 HWT rankings.

I started the first halve hour in average 1:55/500 and the last 5 k it was difficult not to go slower than 2:00/500.
I lost almost 2 kilo's while i drank a halve bidon water on the way.

I have now difficulties to sit  and my neck hurts more than else.

I admire all you guys (and girls) that can row a full marathon.......

Well done, Maarten,

Nice to get some feel for the Marathon one day before the Dutch championship.
Next year you will be there and do a fast 2:45.
