Here's a question that has no easy answer, at least according to the myriad of websites purporting to give advice on rowing. Is it worthwhile to get in the habit of erging mildly for relatively short periods of time (10-20 minutes) a couple times a day (in addition to normal workouts) when I would normally, say, check out a blog or website online?
If it's of no training value, I don't want to do it, but it's a way to make use of the little gaps of time that occur throughout the week.

10 minutes of really mildly rowing is not, but 20 minutes of not so mildly may be.

What is your idea of the not-so-mild? Anaerobic threshold? Lactate work? Hard aerobic?
The way I see it, the little bits of time are sort of like biking from place to place instead of driving. If that actaully has some benefit, then I'm all in.
