Never tried maximal 30R20 but pretty sure the difference b/w for me would be around 5s/500m.

Would have been nice, given the heat, but even French gyms frown on that kind of behavior :P .

Regular 72' (1374 strokes, SPI goal 9.6) sessions yesterday and today. For some reason yesterday's session was somewhat brutal, glad I didn't HD though but fought through the session.

So was slightly nervous before today's session, if this one was going to be as tough too, and did not feel too energetic before session either. Luckily session felt remarkably easier than yesterday (these feel never too easy though). Avg & max HR 5 bpm lower today too.

I like to think of the entire rowing community when it comes to records. I could be/am the record holder for the state of GA for every event for 70+. Seems pretty narrow. Maybe I could narrow it down to my household. I suppose we all have our own perspectives.

I don't know about the whole state, but I bet you own several records in your age group for the town of Gainesville (population 40,000).

Do you ever get to water ski on Lake Lanier?

Some may not know that the rowing venue for the 1996 Olympics is on Lake Lanier. I have rowed out of the Rowing Center mostly in a 1x. As far as water skiing - haven't done since I was a kid. I may well be a record holder for Gainesville in erging. Have never checked. Probably never will.

Been fighting a serious cold since Saturday... just started to feel a bit better yesterday so I gave it a little test...

Yesterday
- AM 500m @ 1:39.9 / DF 142 / SR 35
- PM 500m @ 1:32.6 / DF 190 / SR 35

Today
- PM 2k / 7:11.4 / 1:47.8 / DF 144 / SR 28

Fair amount of phlegm / wheeziness after all 3 pieces but I'm almost healed up... ready to start getting serious again soon.
Male, 46, 6ft / 240 lbs, 183cm / 108 kg / Started erging in Jan 2017
