1000 metre race training for masters

Hi, Does anyone have a programme they can recommend for training for the masters distance of 1000 metres in rowing (on the water). We have access to coaching, but I am not convinced his programme is ideal.
I understand the training bands, but if someone can give me some idea of what sort of workouts I should be doing say 6 weeks out and then down to race week, that would be great.
At present we are three weeks out from nationals, and have been doing some shorter sprint work for the majority of our time on water.
There must be a programme that has been written as a guideline somewhere!
I train 7 times on the water in a week as well as 3 ergos.
My ergos focus on the 1000 metre distance and I have been doing some 1k pieces but also the 30r/30rest and shorter sprints over the last few weeks.

Ideas appreciated.

Some ideas:
Put all training on water. If you can't do that, put as much as possible on the water starting with the intense workouts. If you're left with 3 workouts on land do prehab and low intensity aerobic work allowing recovery.

Supposedly one hard erg piece can be done as a 1000m test if you think it's fun or need it for a mental boost.

Someone will probably give you links to or ideas on specific otw workouts.
