Hey,
I recently tore my MCL in my left knee and was out for six weeks, I am able to row again but now I'm pretty out of shape cardio wise. Spring racing has already started and ends in early May. I would like to get back in shape as quickly as humanly possible to allow me to get back into the boat I would like to be in by the end of the season. I am rowing six days a week but I'm wondering if there is anything else I could be doing to help me get back in shape ASAP. Any tips or pointers would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Coming back from an injury- Need to get in shape FAST, How?

Soak your knee in ice water.
Using a wash cloth soaked in ice water is quite helpful.
I feel a long term approach to fitness is best, and don't have any different advice about getting in shape in one month, except to do the same things that get you in shape and keep you in shape for long term.
