New Rower Model D or Model E

Greets.
I'm absolutely new to rowing. In fact, I've never sat on a machine or a boat. I'm in love with the idea of it and the internet almost uniformly agrees that concept 2 makes the best machines.
I read the product comparison from the website, but don't understand the differences. To me, the only difference is the computer display and seat height.
I'm 5'11 150 and consider myself average in terms of coordination and balance. I plan to use it for cardio in the winter on off days of my weight training. The $300.00 price difference is irrelevant to me unless the machines are equivalent for my purpose. Which product would you recommend?

Model D everytime.
The model E is designed for robust institutional use. The main decider for me is that you can't move the monitor arm on a model E.
You can get a model D with the same PM4 monitor as on a model E, so that's irrelevant.

Great thanks for the info. I just placed my order for a model D /w pm4. Does anyone know about how long they take to arrive in the US? Located in the midwest.
I'm really hoping it arrives by friday so i can play with it over the weekend.

Mine took about a week, but it had to cross the border.

I think mine shipped on a Tuesday and I had it on Thursday, in Virginia.
I bought mine having never been on the water or on the erg. Love it!

I called their customer service this morning and spoke to Cheryl who was great. She got it in todays shipping for me. 4-5 days transit from VT to Omaha. Hopefully I'll get it friday.
Thanks for the advice and encouragement. C2 does have excellent customer service. I was very impressed.

It shouldn't take long to arrive- they shipped one to me in Thailand in a week.
